Beyond being a professional exchange space, GHBC offers in-depth training, skill-sharing sessions, and insights from industry experts.

It also empowers students to pitch innovative business ideas across various sectors including the environment, agriculture, education, fashion, and technology. Inspiration from

17 Sustainable Development Goals

GHBC 2025 is inspired by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations with the consensus of its member countries. This set of 17 goals aims to address global challenges and build a more sustainable and equitable world by 2030.
In just five years, member countries of the United Nations must achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the UN. However, issues such as trade wars, including the global tariff impositions by the United States, inflation, aging populations in countries like South Korea, Japan, and many European nations, along with the misuse of artificial intelligence, are making the SDGs seem unattainable. These challenges require countries and businesses to innovatively adapt and develop solutions to overcome this challenging period. So, how can the Sustainable Development Goals become a reality in this turbulence time?
Therefore, the goal of GHBC this year is not only to encourage teams to create innovative startup ideas that contribute to the sustainable development of the community and the world, but also to encourage participants to adapt to practical factors that will impact the operations of these "future" businesses.

TESTIMONIAL

Our Competitor's Successes

"The HSBC 2024 competition was not only professionally organized with high academic standards but also offered generous support for contestants from afar. Thanks to the dedication of the organizing team and their sponsorship, I found the courage to take my first solo journey from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi. That experience became a pivotal milestone, teaching me to overcome fear, trust myself, and step beyond my comfort zone, a foundation that now lets me stand confidently in Dubai, continuing my journey with a heart full of hope."

"The business idea I developed during the HSBC 2024 competition was more than just a contest entry, it became the guiding thread of my entire U.S. college application journey. From its beginnings as a simple draft, I refined and brought it to life, eventually achieving meaningful early profits. More than a project, it was a piece of my heart, a testament to the passion and perseverance I chose to pursue. This very passion project opened the door for me to join the Stern School of Business at NYU, where dreams in business are nurtured and set free to soar."

"After months of preparing my U.S. college applications, I was fortunate to receive heartfelt letters from Fordham University, Trinity University, and Tulane University.
